International Relief and Development (IRD) is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization, operating in the West Bank and Gaza since December 2007. IRD’s mission is to reduce the suffering of the world’s most vulnerable groups and provide tools and resources needed to increase their self-sufficiency. IRD is seeking to hire qualified people in the West Bank and Gaza on relief short term projects, for the following positions:
3- Procurement and Logistics Specialist (Ramallah): The procurement and Logistics
specialist will be responsible for preparing procurement plans, identifying suppliers and
preparing tender documents including price analysis and contracts. He/She will be responsible for tracking vendor lists, commodities inspection, providing logistics support to field personnel, including the specification, procurement, receipt, storage, and transportation.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in business, finance or other relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years experience with significant component related to procurement and logistics management of relief commodities.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of USAID procurement regulations.
- Strong communications skills and proficiency in spoken and written English
