Procurement Assistant
Job Description

CHF International-West Bank and Gaza Country Office seek to recruit highly qualified candidate to assume the following position:
Procurement Assistant
Under the direct supervision of the Procurement Compliance Manager(PCM), she/he will be responsible to provide administrative support to the PCM, and a variety of standard tasks related to procurement management, collecting and preparation of documentation, data processing, preliminary bids evaluation, filing, provision of information, She/he will be responsible but not limited for the following:
-Coordinate the Procurement Compliance Manager’s schedules, filing and provide the needed administrative support.
-Support the programs in setting the procurement plans, completingreviewtrack the procurement initiation sheets.
-Completes standard forms, drafts corresponds and maintains files;
-Prepares all types of procurement contracts for management review and signature.
-Typing correspondence and reports
-Scanning and copying of official documents.
-Building and following up the Procurement Compliance Filling system.
-Data Entry for the Procurement Compliance Databases.
-Follow-up and preparereview of vendor’s qualification applications, gather the vendors’ documentation, and build efficient archiving system.
-Update of the rosters of vendors.
-Support in market surveys to identify potential vendors of goods and services;
-Responsible for supporting Program Administrative Assistants in soliciting and gathering quotes, conducting analyses and the comparison of quotes;
-Prepares and keeps up-to-date relevant documentation and records of procurement activities.
Required Qualifications:
-University Degree in Business Administration, or any related field
-Experience: 2 years of relevant administrative experience is required
-Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
-Language Requirements: Good command in both English and Arabic.
