Job Description
Chemonics International seeks Procurement Specialist, Procurement Assistant, Civil Society Organizations Specialist and Training and Events Coordinator for its USAID-funded Palestinian Justice Enhancement Program that works to strengthen justice sector institutions and the rule of law in the West Bank and Gaza.
 
Procurement Assistant

Responsibilities Include:
-Assist procurement specialist with the development of Requests for Quotations
-Assist in obtaining quotations from vendors. Serve as point of contact for staff on facilitating the completion of purchase requests
-Manage procurement and inventory tracker
-Maintain procurement files with all appropriate documentations including RFQs, bid analysis, quotations from suppliers
-Obtain appropriate bids and conducts all negotiations with vendors for provision of goods and services.
-Track procurement schedules, ensuring proper completion and filling of all procurement documents.
-Coordinate with finance department on requests of VAT exemption for vendors and subcontractors.
-Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education, Qualifications, and/or Equivalent Experience:
-Minimum of BA degree in a relevant field.
-A minimum of 1 year of USAID experience in an administrative or procurement position.
-Strong Arabic and English skills.
-Excellent computer skills.
