Procurement Officer
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for the procurement and allocation of expendable and non- expendable materials, supplies, equipment, and services for the company. Main duties will include but not limited to:
Manage and monitor the service provider's contracts, payments and ensure that they are updated, accurate and cost effective.
Prepare quotations, tenders for procurement of office equipment and services, review price quotations and prepare analysis.
Maintain procurement files, monitor and evaluate the procurement process.
Make direct purchases of supplies within limits allowed by the company; contacts local sources of supply, obtains price quotations, and selects the vendor.
Contact vendors to resolve problems with late shipments, damaged or incorrect products, and noncompliance with contracted services and/or rental agreements.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in procurement.
Ability to develop and apply procedures for procurement activities.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and clients.
Proficiency in spoken and written English. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Driving license is a plus.
