Product Engineer

Create modern and aesthetic concept designs and present them as 3D models to determine the best product.

Perform research on product technologies and structures to implement into design concepts.

Turn the conceptual design into design for manufacturing (DFM) and select materials to build a prototype, and then scale it in a cost-effective manner.

Employ design concepts into functional prototypes and then test the product prototype.

Prepare technical drawing of the products. The product engineer is expected to provide full parts and assembly drawings of the product as well as the installation guide if required.

Be responsible of communicating with suppliers and manufacturers.

Modify and revise existing designs to meet company’s expectations.

A bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or related field; master's degree preferred

Relevant work experience as a product designer is preferred

Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Excellent attention to details

Expertise in CAD and CAM software

The ability to surface 3D scan models

A very good experience in designing plastic products with a very good knowledge of plastic materials
