American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA), a Development Assistance and Humanitarian Aid Organization working in Palestine since 1968, is announcing to fill the following new vacancies under the Emergency Water and Sanitation and Other Infrastructure Program (EWAS II) funded by the United States Agency for Development (USAID). The anticipated employment duration for the position listed below is four years and all are based in ANERA’s Jerusalem Office.
Program Assistant: Two positions
Responsibilities:
-Collect and assemble data and update information on the project status for analysis and reporting purposes.
-Assist in verifying all supporting documents submitted by the all parties involved in the project.
-Assist in preparing minutes of meetings, periodic and progress reports of the program.
-Maintaining files and other documentation for each project’s activities.
-General administrative duties as required by supervisors.
Educational Background and Work Experience Requirements:
- A university degree in business administration or one of the social studies.
-1-2 years of experience related to support program activities preferably with experience in an NGO environment.
- Experience in preparing reports, minutes of meeting, presentations, etc.
-Strong communications and reporting skills in English and Arabic.
-Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Windows package.
