Program Assistant

International Medical Corps is working to relieve the suffering of those impacted by war, natural disaster and disease by delivering vital health care services that focus on training, helping devastated populations return to self-reliance. IMC has been working in Gaza since 2009 and is currently implementing a project to support health service provision in partnership with local NGOs.

International Medical corps is currently looking for: Program Assistant 

Capacity: Full Time Contract 

Location: Gaza City.

Scope of Work:

Main Responsibilities:

The Program Assistant will:

• Participate in implementing this project in Gaza with effective day to day monitoring of its activities with technical activities in focus. 
• Coordinate for program components among different staff as well as among program partners.
• Work with sub awardees on follow up of their application and their feedback reports for the program
• Participate in needs assessment of partners and facilities and highlight gaps through need assessment reports.
• Participate in technical clearance of the partners activities with focus on quality aspects. 
• Keep Database for the NGOs and CBOs.
• Participate in meetings related to the program with international donors and the local related committees in coordination with all concerned parties.
• Assist in the preparation of the regular reports related to the progress of the program activities

Qualifications and Skills:

• University degree in medicine, Nursing, Business Administration, Public Administration, Hospital Management, Management Information System or related fields
• At least 3 years of working experience in health-related organizations with evident technical assignments 
• Demonstrated familiarity with the health system in Gaza, especially with the NGOs and CBOs that provide health care services.
• Good level of English.
• Good level of computer skills
