Program Assistant

Project Summary:
This USG-funded initiative aims to enhance the civilian rule of law and focuses on improving the capacity of local institutions to provide and sustain essential services in accordance with universal standards of justice and human rights.
Reporting & Supervision:
The Program Assistant will report directly to the Program Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Represent the program at partner community centers and events.
- Coordinate program activities with key stakeholders at the community center and surrounding communities.
- Liaise with local communities on issues relating to community safety, crime, etc.
- Support implementation of community activities that aim at strengthening ties between local institutions and communities.
- Participate in Community training sessions and other project activities.
- Advise program management on site-specific context and opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years college degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Law Enforcement or Social Work.
- Arabic and English fluency.
- Experience with and understanding of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) processes to measure program impact and outcomes preferred.
