The Palestinian Market Development Programme (PMDP) is funded by UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the European Union (EU) in-cooperation with the Ministry of National Economy and implemented by DAI Europe over a period of five years, with offices in Ramallah and Gaza. The programme has been designed to improve market systems and improve the competitiveness of the Palestinian private sector. PMDP aims to improve private sector competitiveness through technical assistance and matching grants. Additionally, PMDP will work on strengthening trade and investment linkages as well as linkages with the Palestinian Diaspora to play an active role in economic development in the OPTs.

We are currently recruiting for the following position:

Programme Coordinator


The Programme Coordinator, based in Ramallah, is part of the matching grants component Team. The Programme Coordinator  will work directly with Business Development Advisors to support, implement and monitor the grants program. The Programme Coordinator will provide critical administrative support to a team of Business Development Advisors and clients to ensure all records, files, and correspondence are well maintained and organized. Additional duties will include tracking grant deliverables under each grant award and tracking all clients’ activities sand maintaining up to date information.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
-Bachelor degree in business administration or related field.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in program development and dealing with the Palestinian private sector
-Strong facilitation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
-Ability to work independently as well as to function effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
-Ability to monitor, analyse, consult, and report on programs and activities.
-Advanced organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
-Excellent command of English and Arabic, both verbal and written.
-Proficient with computer applications—a thorough understanding of the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn and master other computer technology/software programs as needed.
-Strong ability to organize information and handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.
-Strong organizational skills, attention to details and the ability to meet deadlines.
