Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering the British Council-led component of the EU-funded “Perform Produce Design” Project, which focuses on engaging Palestinian contemporary performing arts in site-specific performance to revive cultural heritage spaces across the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Drawing on the success of existing Arts/cultural programmes in-country, this project is delivered jointly with Goethe Institute (the ‘Project Lead’), and in coordination with the local Cluster of EUNIC (the European Union National Institutes of Culture). It aims to contribute to a more sustainable creative economy and common cultural identity that supports diverse artistic and cultural expressions and heritage, a strengthened ecosystem for cultural and creative industries, promoting innovation capacity and economic opportunities. This Project Manager post will provide operational leadership in close liaison with the Goethe Institute’s Project Manager, and will work under the line management of the British Council Country Director, who acts as SRO (Senior Responsible Owner).
