The Opportunity – Programme Volunteer 
 
Number of volunteers: Eight 
 
Post location: Gaza Field Office
Contract Duration and Level of Effort: 3 months
 
ROLE PURPOSE:
The volunteer role's purpose is to follow up on day-to-day training implementation with the project team and partner staff, ensuring that the proposed training is achieved, according to the required tasks, line manager's guidance, and in compliance with SCI policies.  
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
 
SCOPE OF ROLE
Reports to: Gaza Senior Programme officer
Staff reporting to this post:  NA 
 
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
  • Organize the logistics of the green jobs training in coordination with the project team and the trainer.
  • Communicate with the participants to ensure timely attendance according to the training plan
  • Attend all training sessions, perform facilitation duties, and help the trainer oversee the training.
  • Maintain continuous communication with the line manager to establish a workflow summary.
  • Coordinate the training logistics, hospitality, and materials for each training day.
  • Ensure that attendance sheets are filled on daily basis and provide line manager a daily report on the results.
  • Observe the rules and safety regulations of the organization while carrying out tasks.
  • Propose recommendations for improvement where feasible and appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • Fresh graduate – University degree in business administration, management, social science or any other relevant field.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
