Programs Manager

A not-for-profit organization active in promoting women and child rights and protection through working with local, regional and international partners to disseminate awareness, build capacities and encourage the importance of women and child rights in Palestine.
The organization is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the position of Programs Manger for its Women and Child Programs.
Responsibilities to include
1- Develop proposals for fundraising using the log frame approach.
2- Review submitted proposals, evaluating them for soundness of project design and adequacyof program evaluation and sustainability(including developing action plans, follow up anddocumentation).
3- Deliver narrative and financial reports as per the donor’s request.
4- Monitor program budgets based on agreed plans with donors.
5-  Develop annual work plans, and ensure and monitor their implementation.
Requirements:
1- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s in Social studies or any relevant field preferred.
2- Minimum three years of solid experience in women and child policies, human services and/or related fields.
3- Strong analytic and communication skills.
4- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
5- The ability to think creatively and strategically about the strategic goals of the organization.
6- General knowledge of the local government and their respective agencies.
7- Thorough proved understanding of gender-based violence theory and practice.
8- Fluency in English and Arabic languages with excellent oral and writing skills
9- Ability to work under pressure and beyond normal working hours
