Project Accountant

QRC has received a fund from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Cooperation with Islamic Development Bank (IDB) for Equipping Specialized Surgery Building (SSB) at Alshifa Hospital and part of it is allocated toward medical equipment and furniture

Title: Project Accountant
Location: Gaza Strip
Duration: 18 Month

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The accountant will take over the following duties under the supervision of QRC Finance officer
-Prepare, review, and control the daily financial transactions
-Ensure timely, accurate, and integral outputs
-Enter all accounting data on the financial system
-Prepare Bank Reconciliation
-Custodian for Petty Cash
-Prepare Payment voucher
-Prepare monthly financial report
-Prepare project cash flow
-Prepare financial reimbursement from donor
-Maintaining all  financial files
-Any other tasks requested by direct supervisor

Qualification:
-Bachelor in Accounting or Finance
-Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in international NGO accounting.
-knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
-Experience in using the accounting system
-Fluency in oral and written English and Arabic
-Ability to prepare financial plans and financial analysis
-Knowledge about the Palestinian Tax law
-Ability to communicate with supervisors
-Ability to work under pressure
