The East Jerusalem YMCA Rehabilitation Program (YMCA-RP) is a non-governmental, non-profit
organization established in 1989 to offer quality rehabilitative services to youth who were disabled,
injured or traumatized as a result of political violence.
Save the Children International and the EJ-YMCA Rehabilitation Program are seeking a Project Coordinator for the “Post-Trauma Rehabilitation of Palestinian ex-detainee children in the West Bank” Programme

Job Title: Project Coordinator
Project: Post-Trauma Rehabilitation of Palestinian ex-detainee children
Location: Based in EJ-YMCA office – Beit Sahour
Contract: 10 months with possibility for extension.

Key Responsibilities:
-Coordinates and oversees all project management functions, including human resources, finance, and logistics support, under the direct supervision of the Director of The East Jerusalem YMCA Rehabilitation Program.
-Supervises and coordinates timely and efficient implementation of all project activities.
-Works closely with project field supervisors to develop implementation plans, worksheets and reports.
-Liaises with Save the Children International and keeps them updated about work progress and implementation plans.
-Develops partnerships between the program and main stakeholders who work in the psychosocial and exdetainees rehabilitation fields.
-Ensure proper, professional, documented and clear communication with the project staff regarding all aspects of the project activities.
-Coordinates staff work with governmental ministries, NGOs, community leaders and other relevant bodies

Qualifications:
-Minimum Bachelor degree in Social Sciences, Human Rights Studies, or any other relevant field.
-Proven experience in community work, preferably social work related projects.
-Demonstrated experience in project management: planning, monitoring and evaluation.
-Excellent command of English and Arabic is essential.
-Good analytical and problem-solving skills
-Proven experience in building cooperative relationships
-Ability to work under pressure.
-Strong communication and presentation skills.
-Able to work from Bethlehem area office.
