Job Description
QADER for Community Development in partnership with AISPO is implementing a project titled “Social Empowerment and Equality for Persons with Disabilities” funded by the Italian Cooperation – Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. QADER seeks to recruit qualified person in the position of
Project Coordinator
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Liaise with Ministry and Directorates of Education within the West Bank, and maintain close cooperation with their key staff.
-Maintain high collaboration with AISPO staff and ensure effective communication is in place.
-Coordinate logistics support and ensure that the planned activities are carried out effectively and in timely manner.
-Liaise with implementing partners on coordination and execution of activities.
-Oversee and manage implementation of project activities in close collaboration with the project staff.
-Ensure efficient internal monitoring of the project, and compliance with funder’s requirements.
-Collaborate to the writing of narrative reports, case studies, press releases, and other documents, as required.
-Prepare for workshops and meetings, and prepare minutes and reports accordingly, and follow up results with all concerned parties.
-Organize and prepare for trainings and workshops including all logistical issues.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all activities, and prepare analytical reports accordingly.
-Contribute to the planning, preparations, and oversight of various procurement activities.
-Collect and provide information on the progress of the projects activities and results.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
-Bachelor Degree in social sciences, or a related field.
-At least 3 years of proven experience in managing / coordination of projects.
-Proven experience in working with school staff and students.
-Previous experience in career counseling is a plus.
-Knowledge of key issues and challenges shaping current status of persons with disabilities in Palestine.
-Excellent communication skill, with proven writing skills in English & Arabic.
-High planning & organizational skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Application (Work, Excel, Power Point,….)
-Ability to handle multi-tasks in a fast paced environment.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Valid Driving License, with ability to move extensively in the West Bank
