Project Coordinator
ActionAid is a global movement of people working together to further human rights for all and defeat poverty.
ActionAid is currently looking for qualified persons to fill the following positions for its office in Hebron.
Project Coordinator – One position
Qualifications and Skills:
-University degree in Development Studies/Social Sciences or related field.
-Minimum 5 years experience managing humanitarian and development projects.
-Experience in livelihood and small scale development projects
-Proven leadership and management skills that foster team work and learning spirit.
-Strong experience working with partners in a participatory manner and, in particular, empowering partners through shared decision making processes.
-Strong knowledge about documentation of Human Rights denials and advocacy of rights violation.
-Strong knowledge on development of livelihood projects.
-Proven experience leading M&E programmes and an ability to use a variety of approaches and methodologies.
-Strong background supporting the professional development of local organizations and staff. Including provision of training, mentoring and coaching support.
-Willingness to engage in extensive field work
-Proven experience in social mobilization
-Proven experience in participation and facilitation
-Ability to meet deadlines and work within a stressful environment.
-Strong aptitude for critical thinking
-Demonstrated creativity, initiative, resourcefulness and integrity.
-Strong oral and written communication skills.
-A high level of computer competency (excel, word, email, internet).
-Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic are essential.
-A deep commitment to ActionAid’s vision, mission and values.
-Valid Driving License.
