Project Coordinator
Background:
Warm Home Society has received a grant from U.S. Department of State and funded by the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) for the project entitled: (PRECious – Palestinian Rural Women E-Commerce Project). Accordingly, Warm Home seeks the selection and employment of a Project Coordinator.
Position Title: Project Coordinator – Full Time
Location: West Bank
Reports To: Program Director
Duration: 12 Months
Starting Date: As Soon As Possible
Assignment Objective:
Warm Home is considering the selection of highly qualified Project Coordinator responsible for the overall implementation of all project activities under the supervision of the Program Director.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Responsible for the overall implementation of the project.
- Administrative and technical supervision and follow up of the activities’ implementation.
- Supervision of project team involved in the activities that fall within her responsibility.
- Ensure that all program activities are implemented in a timely manner and according to the donor’s rules and regulations.
- Follow-up all procurement and financial issues related to the project in accordance with donor’s procurement procedures and guidelines
- Drafting meeting minutes.
- Plan, conduct and supervise regular field visits to ensure proper implementation of the activities on the ground.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluation, including preparation of periodical reports as requested by the donor.
- Archive project documents and prepare the needed documents for both the technical and financial reports.
- Contribute to the development of new project ideas in the field of work.
- Manage internal and external communication related to the project.
- Prepare periodical reports as requested by Warm Home and donor in consultation with the Program Director.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating the program by reporting to Program Director on the program deliverables.
- Perform any other tasks as requested by the Program Director.
Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Economics or other related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of the project management, preferably with experience in working within NGO context.
- Proven experience in working with projects related to women.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English and Arabic.
- Proven ability to handle multiple assignments and meet the required deadlines.
- Advanced computer literacy.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and within a team.
