The Palestinian Bar Association (PBA) looking for a candidate to occupy a position of “Project Coordinator “that is part of an expected UNDP-funded project to enhance the profession of lawyers and promote access to justice.

Summary Job Description:
The Lawyers for Justice and legal Reform project coordinator is responsible for the overall administrative, technical and financial management of project activities, ensuring the project meets its objectives and targets. The Project Coordinator directly supervises the team. The project Coordinator develops operational plan, monitors the project staff execution, and prepares periodic project performance reports.The project coordinator will be responsible for AWN access to Justice network coordinations and referral systems.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Planning and coordination
-Develop monthly operational plans
-Develop monthly activity plans and oversee the implementation.
-Facilitate periodic staff and meetings.
- provide monthly, quarterly and final reports.
- coordinate AWN acess to justice activities, meetings, joint activities and ensure all Network requirments.
Staff supervision and development
-Conduct weekly meetings and follow up the project plan.
-Approve and monitor individual work plans.
Documentation, Learning and Reporting
-Ensure Field Agents and Field Supervisors submit timely, complete and accurate reports
-Document best practices, lessons learned and success stories
-Prepare narrative and progress reports
Financial Management and Reporting
-Manage project expenditure in line with approved budgets
-Oversee the advance/liquidation process for project activities
-Oversee the preparation of financial reports.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
-Bachelors degree in Social Science, Microfinance, Business Administration, ProjectManagement or related discipline.
-At least 5 years of experience in community development, with at least 2 years of project management or coordination.
-Specialized knowledge of and experience with legal aid projects - with a preference for community-social services is advanced.
-Proven leadership ability with strong interpersonal skills.
-Strong writing and documentation skills.
-Strong excperience in coordiation.
-Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
-Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, e-mail)
