Project Coordinator
Objective of Position:
The Project Coordinator for the Small Enterprise Center (SEC) Association will be based at SEC Bethlehem branch/Bethlehem city. The general objective of this assignment is to coordinate SEC projects implementation in Bethlehem and the Southern part of the West Bank area with different partners in accordance with SEC philosophy, methods, strategic and operational plan. In particular,
the project coordinator shall be responsible for coordinating and implementing SEC projects including, the followings:
-Assist in the overall programs management of the SEC branch in Bethlehem.
-Coordinates projects implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Bethlehem Branch.
-Oversee and follow up work plans and implementation of program activities.
-Plan and coordinates the implementation of SEC activities (e.g. trainings, workshops, seminars, conferences, field visits, etc).
-Maintain contacts and relations with partner organizations, stakeholders, and SMEs.
-Produce activities progress reports on regular basis and maintain project documentation.
In addition,the project coordinator will" help SEC in drafting proposals for donors and institutional clients through
-Provide information on potential program areas.
-Drafting project concepts and ideas
-Support in searching and exploring funding opportunities for SEC
-Assist in marketing the proposals through approaching donors.
The project coordinator will work under the supervision of the programs manager and SEC director general. He / She will report to the programs manager in areas related to the Projects and to Director General in all other areas.
The projects coordinator must show a behavior that is consistent with the objectives and values of the, and demonstrate this in all his / her contacts with clients, partners, other organizations and the public in general. In particular, he / she must respect the confidentiality of any information received.
Requirements and qualifications:
Education: Minimum of bachelor degree in management, economy, development or other related technical discipline or equivalent knowledge.
Experience: at least 2-3 years related experience including proposal writings and project planning and implementation.
Competencies : Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-Fluent Arabic and strong accurate writing skills in English and Arabic.
-Knowledge and skills in proposal writing and ability to conceptualize projects.
-Knowledge of project management and implementation.
-Excellent communications, leadership skills and demonstrate teamwork spirit.
-Ability to take responsibility and function under minimal supervision.
-Knowledge of computer use with MS Office software, word, Excel.
