Palestine Trade Center- PalTrade signed a three-year project for €3 million funded by the European Union, the project titled: “Unleashing Palestine’s Export Potential to the EU and International Markets”, The project is part of the Team-Europe Initiative to Support the Private Sector Development and Trade in Palestine. The European Union is committed to supporting Palestinians and expanding their prospects for stability and prosperity in the area of trade in order to achieve sustainable economy, this project is part of such effort.
Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
- Communicate with project partners, stakeholders, experts, contractors on matters related to project activities (i.e. draft invitation letters, agenda of meetings, etc.)
- Coordinate logistical and administrative arrangements of meetings, trainings, workshops, travel, study visits and other project activities in West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip (in coordination with PalTrade’s Gaza office)
- Support the implementation of the project activities on the ground (including targeted beneficiaries) in a very flexible manner and in close cooperation with all Stakeholders
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the project team
- Maintain records and filing of technical and financial documents
- Collect and provide information about local, regional, and international economic developments, trends, and trade data.
- Perform various tasks needed to assess Palestinian companies’ readiness to export and build their capacity to export to the EU and globally.
- Respond to information requests from clients and or any of the stakeholders
- Work closely with Pal Trade technical staff, project staff, and support staff on various tasks and initiatives.

Essential abilities and qualifications:
- BA degree in economics, business, marketing or equivalent related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in project coordination/management
- Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent English and Arabic language skills both writing and speaking
- Skilled user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), the use of webinars and social media tools
- Familiarity with EU public procurement and contract management is a plus
- Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills.
- High level of individual initiative and creativity
- Self-motivated in a non-traditional work environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients and staff
- Accuracy and attention to details is key
- Problem solving skills
