The Hebron Youth Development Resource Center (HYDRC) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to empowering youth in the Hebron region through civic engagement, governance, and community development initiatives. As part of the USAID-funded Positive Youth Engagement (PYE) initiative, implemented by Mercy Corps, HYDRC is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to support the implementation of a new component focused on Non-Formal Education under the PYE program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Implementation: Lead and manage non-formal education activities, ensuring that they are aligned with the project’s goals and delivered on time.
  • Curriculum Development: The ability to design and adapt engaging learning materials that cater to the specific needs, interests, and motivations of youth.
  • Training & Capacity Building: The ability to organize and conduct training sessions for local partner of non-formal education tools and  methodologies.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation: Track program progress, evaluate outcomes, and recommend improvements to enhance the impact on youth learning. Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Youth Engagement: Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages active participation, creativity, and critical thinking among youth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with local partners, students, and community leaders to ensure successful program delivery and sustainability.
  • Resource Management: Assist in managing the project budget and resources, ensuring efficient and effective use.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Relevant Experience: At least 3 years of experience in education, youth development, or related fields, with a strong focus on non-formal education or similar programs. Experience in project management is essential.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience in non-formal education or curriculum development is an advantage.

Required Skills:

  • Deep understanding of non-formal education principles and practices.
  • Proven ability to design and adapt educational content for youth.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, particularly in engaging with youth and diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic (both written and spoken).
