Project Coordinator Commodity Distribution

Catholic Relief Services is an international aid agency and has been present in the Jerusalem, West Bank, and Gaza since 1961. The CRS JWBG country program currently supports development/relief programs and activities in the sectors of civil society, humanitarian assistance, youth development, education, and peace & justice.

CRS is seeking highly qualified candidates for the following position:

Position Title: Project Coordinator –Commodity Distribution
Reports to: Assistant Project Officer
Locations: Gaza Field Office
Note: This contracted position is contingent on the awarding of funding by the donor

Job Summary:
Under the supervision and guidance of the Assistant Project Officer, the Project Coordinator (PC) is
responsible for implementation of activities under Winter Relief (WR) Project, specifically responsible for the Commodity Distribution, planning the field work, implementation and coordination with implementing partners’ coordinators and the support department. The PC will ensure timely, efficient and effective flow of activities in the field, overseeing the work of the implementing partners, distribution to selected beneficiaries, and monitoring and evaluation. The PC will play an integral role in the flow of information concerning the program.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:
-HS diploma, University degree preferred; significant comparable work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
-Two years in a comparable position;
-Strong language skills both written and oral in English and Arabic;
-Strong computer skills in MS Office.
