World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most marginalized and poor communities of the world.
World Vision JWG is implementing “Improving livelihoods for vulnerable unemployed workers through cash for work interventions in Palestine” project - this is cash for project funded by ECHO and matched with World Vision and community contribution. This project has been designed to tackle the high unemployment rate in Siris and Yabad localities through cash for work activities. Through this project one public park in Siris village will be established, three school gardens will be renovated and the public park of Yabad will be upgraded. The duration of the project is 10 months (possibly renewable). World Vision JWG is seeking a:

The successful candidate will:
-Provide engineering technical support throughout the project start up implementation and closing out
-Conduct regular coordination meetings with the target village/municipal councils
-Conduct procurement activities in coordination with the program manager and project
engineer in accordance with the ECHO/donor’s guidelines
-Ensure timeliness of work and recommendations for modifications when appropriate

Qualifications/Requirements
-Bachelor degree in civil engineering
-Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination with experience in coordination for cash for work project strongly preferred
-Ability to write technical reports (preferably in English)
-Commitment to achieving quality results and service
-Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively
-Ability to think clearly, deeply and broadly
-Demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
-Proficiency in MS Office
-Valid driving license
-Integrity and strong identification with WV Core Values
