Project Coordinator (PC)-Distribution

Catholic Relief Services is an international aid agency and has been present in the Jerusalem, West Bank, and Gaza for over 60 years. The CRS JWBG country program currently supports development/relief programs and activities in the sectors of humanitarian assistance, youth development, education, and peace & justice. 

Position Title: Project Coordinator (PC)-Distribution
Reports to:  Assistant Project Officer
Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Job Summary:

Under the supervision and guidance of the Assistant Project Officer, the Project Coordinator (PC) is responsible for implementation of activities under Humanitarian Aid Gaza project, planning the field work, implementation and coordination with implementing partners’ coordinators.  The PC will ensure timely, efficient and effective distribution of commodities under CEP project and play an integral role in the flow of information concerning the program.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

1-Position Requirements and Qualifications HS diploma, University degree preferred; significant comparable work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
2-Two to three years in a comparable position;
3-Strong language skills both written and oral in English and Arabic;
4-Excellent communicator; good telephone skills
5-Excellent analytic and computer skills; skilled in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access.
