Job Description
The Project Coordinator will report directly to the Women’s Empowerment and Positive Parenting Program Manager.S/he will collaborate with the WEPP Manager to cover logistics of programming, and give insight on interventions for the target communities. Depending on the needs of the intervention or project, the Project Coordinator will harmonize resources to better serve the target communities. Finally, the Project Manager will promote TYO’s holistic, systemic efforts to promote individual, family, and community well-being through the advancement of women’s empowerment.
What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties Not Limited To)
- Compile registration and intake documentation for the WEPP sessions.
- Communicate with program beneficiaries on specifics of programming administration, timing, and other logistical issues.
- Collaborate with the WEPP Manager to research, implement, and monitor effectiveness of interventions concerning women’s empowerment.
- Closely cooperate with community partners to administer projects on a broader scale outside of the TYO center.
- Research and stay current about existing opportunities to further women’s empowerment through relevant domains in Nablus and the West Bank.
- Assist in organization of gender equity trainings to relevant groups in Nablus.
- Assist in the organization of entrepreneurship programming.
- Assist in the organization of trainings concerning domestic violence and gender transformative practices.

Qualifications
- BA in women’s issues, community development, psychology, education, or related fields.
- Knowledge of different educational, financial, health, and legal resources available to women in the Nablus Governorate and throughout Palestine.
- Knowledge of barriers to empowerment women face in Palestine, particularly underserved communities within Nablus.
- 1-3 years of experience in program development and implementation to disadvantaged populations, preferably with women and in Palestine.
- Experience in inputting and recording data.
- Experience in collaborating across a broad team to ensure cohesion within different facets of holistic programming.
- Experience in professional communication with local partners to streamline service and program provision and achieve common goals.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, database management, etc.
- Strong organizational and short- and long-term planning skills.
- Clear commitment to TYO’s mission to empower women to realize their potential as healthy, active and responsible community members.
- Fluent in Arabic and excellent written and spoken English.
