International Relief and Development (IRD) is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization, operating in the West Bank and Gaza since December 2007. IRD is seeking to hire qualified Engineers in the West Bank for the upcoming USAID –Funded projects under the Infrastructure Needs Program. The position is as follows:

-BS degree or higher in Civil Engineering with
-Minimum 10 years of experience in road construction or related infrastructure projects.
- At least 6 years of the experience shall be in developing countries with infrastructure needs and programs similar to those of the West Bank/Gaza.
- Must have demonstrated experience in developing countries in the effective use of local contractors and local labor.
- Must be knowledgeable concerning FAR and/or FIDIC construction contracting.
- Strong leadership and team building skills.
- Strong communication skills, including proficiency in spoken and written English.

All Positions/Candidates must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in the English language.
