The Palestinian Agricultural Relief Committees (PARC) is a leading Palestinian Agricultural Development Organization that was established in 1983

PARC seeks the services of full-time Project manager to accomplish the following:

The project manager should ensure that the project activities are implemented in a way that achieves the expected impacts and results. The project manager is expected to ensure that the desired results are achieved effectively and most efficiently considering the available human and budgetary resources.

The project manager's tasks are listed below:

Plan activities

-Make sure that the scope and goals of the project are maintained in all phases of activity planning
-Create detailed, realistic and effective work plans
-Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
-Set the required quality standards that assure all activities are achieving their objectives
-Engage the project's staff in all planning events
-Engage targeted communities as much as possible in the planning phase for the different activities

Staff the project
-Manage project's staff effectively

Implement the project
-Execute the project activities according to the project plan
-Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
-Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
-Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards

Control the project
-Write reports on the project for management and for funders
-Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance on a regular basis
-Overview and fine tune the project progress report.
-Produce high quality specialized reports when needed.

Evaluate the project
-Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
-Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
-Leadership Skills: You will have to keep your employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions for your employees.
-Time Management: You will be working with employees, customers and management, often spinning multiple plates at once.
-Analytical Skills: You will also need analytical skills to  analyze data and perform assessments, lead research activities and solve problems.
-Writing skills. You will need to be able to write and review high quality reports besides the regular progress reports

 

Qualifications:
Relevant university degree; preferably a master degree in Business Administration, Project Management; international development.
-More than five years of progressive career in project management.

-Strong knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
Fluency in spoken and written both English & Arabic.
