Al-Ahlyia Association for the Development of Palm &Dates(ASDPD)
ASDPD is a non- profit, community based association, which acts outside of institutionalized political structures, ASDPD has successfully implemented pioneering, lifesaving and other agricultural projects with poor and marginalized farmers in the Gaza Strip. ASDPD works with the stakeholders to support agricultural and livestock development, hoping to contribute to achieve food security and to support farmer's men and women in rural areas.  ASDPD has the technical and managerial capacity to implement projects in various sectors.

ASDPD is seeking qualified candidate to fulfill the following vacancies to execute the "Strengthening the capacity of sheep female breeders in the rural areas" project activity, funded by the International Labor Organization –ILO:
Position Title: full Time Project Manager.
Location:  Middle Governorate - Palestine.
Period: 7 months
Starting date: As soon as possible


Tasks & Responsibilities
-Ensure all activities are implemented in accordance to project document.
-Produce progress, monthly reports, and any update on each activity, achievements, and constraints faced, and produce interim and final reports.
-Monitor project outcomes and to ensure all activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
-Coordinate with the different project staff, partners, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure better management and effective implementation of the project plan.
-Maintain the project excellence and quality standards in a manner that is consistent with the Project guiding principles, mission, and vision.
-Organize all related logistical arrangements for the planned activities with partners.
-Offer financial monitoring to ensure the compliance with the approved financial procedures.
-Submit the required reports and other requirements in line with the approved deadlines and formats.
-Compile, maintain, and document the projects/s related reports, daily work records, and other relevant documents.


Position Requirements and Qualifications:
-Relevant university degree; in Business Administration, Project Management; Engineering; or any related degree
-Two years of experience in project management, preferably with experience in working with NGO's.
-Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
-Ability to multi-task effectively as well as display professionalism and confidence.
-Ability to plan and coordinate the most effective use of staff, facilities, and resources to achieve successful project objectives.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and web browsing.
-Fluency in spoken and written both English& Arabic.
-Ability to work under pressure and within a team
