Project Manager

Consulting Engineering Center (CEC) is an independent and integrated Consulting Engineering firm.

We provide a comprehensive service in the Study, Design, Construction Supervision and Management of Water, Wastewater, Environment, Dams and Transportation projects.
CEC is looking for experienced professional Project Manager for the Infrastructure Management Projects in Gaza Strip according to the following:

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Supervise and delegate proper tasks to field support staff.
-Supervise and ensure timely review of all construction and material submittals.
-Review Contractors schedules and execution plans and ensure compliance with the terms of the Contract.
-Ensure contractors’ compliance with all the resource requirements.
-Monitor the progress of the project against the project schedule and prepare weekly progress reports to the main office.
-Review contractors progress payments provide recommendation to the main office
-Review Contract revisions, follow up and ensure timely preparation of Contract Variation Orders and compliance with the contract documents.
-Coordinate with contractors on all security and permitting issues related to the implementation of the project.
-Study contract documents to ensure compliance of the construction methods adopted by contractors.
-Ensure contractor compliance with quality control programs.
-Follow up with the contractors and ensure timely and efficient coordination with local authorities on matters related to the implementation of projects.
-Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.

Work Experience & Qualifications:

Must hold a degree in engineering and/or construction management with significant work experience of not less than ten (10) years. Must be knowledgeable concerning FAR construction contracting. Experience in working with USAID and local entities is required.
