The Palestinian Water Authority is implementing Maythaloun Water Scheme financed by the Agence Francaise De Developpement ( AFD) . In line with this project entitled “Construction of Facilities at Well Site and Supply and Installation of one Vertical Turbine Well Pump Shaft Length 440m, Six inline Booster Pumps; Maythaloun Water Supply Scheme“, Jenin District,West Bank“ , PWA is recruiting
Project Manager - Construction Phase
For 18 months period in the site of the project (Maythaloun Area)The main duties of the candidate:
1-Supervise all the management activities starting from issuing the commencement order to the successful completion of operation of the constructed works
2- Check supervision procedures, approve day to day activities, run and attend meetings
3-Supervise Quality Control and Quality Assurance procedures
4-Ensure a comprehensive documentation and record keeping system of the project
5-Get the required interpretation of the drawings and specifications
6-Conduct site visits for regular check up
7-Review, comment and approve any deliverables related to the project
8-Follow up project timeline, milestones and critical paths
9-Monitor project startup and operations and maintenance program and defects liability programs
10- Assist and advise on staffing disputes or differences between the client and the Contractor
11-Prepare and submit the project completion report
Profile of the candidate:
University degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering
10 years of professional experience
3 years experience in Projects Management
Fluent in English and Arabic
Excellent Computer skills
Excellent command of report writing and construction
site management tools
Good interpersonal, analytical and communications skills
Valid driving License
