Project Manager
Job Description
Reporting directly to the department Director and will be responsible for managing, following up, developing, analyzing and evaluating a wide range of strategic investments in key real estate sub-sectors (tourism, commercial, industrial, residential).
Responsibilities
The position requires significant hard work with ability to deliver under high pressure, and meet deadlines. The work will involve a proactive approach on a wide range of activities that includes but not limited to the following:
-Evaluate the performance of companies and projects;
-Identify and develop new investment ideas and preparation of project proposals-,
-Prepare financial, economic and technical analysis, evaluate and draft reports in both Arabic and English on investments including existing and potential ones;
-Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, collect relevant information, and create financial and business reports;
-Build financial models in order to analyze and evaluate potential projects-,
-Develop business models to serve as the base for business and investment decision making-,
-Interact with strategic partners and companies management to ensures adherence with the company's different strategies and policies-,
-Provide management team with critical insights on pricing strategies, costing, and other performance indicators-,
-Participate in the selection of consultants, including drafting Terms of Reference and Request for Proposals;
-Contribute to the strategic thinking and planning within the department and the company.
Qualifications/ Selection Criteria
The successful candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of the Palestinian economy and good knowledge and experience of the Palestinian private sector especially in the real estate sector.
The required qualifications of potential candidates are:
-At least 5 years of experience in investment management and analysis, business valuation with special focus on key economic sectors and infrastructure;
-MBA from a recognized university with special focus in finance, investment analysis, and/or economics is a Plus;
-Good knowledge, credibility and networks within the private sector;
-Ability to think beyond traditional boundaries of business and economic theories;
-Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, design and implement projects and to close business transactions with strategic partners-,
-Genuine commitment to highest ethical standards and to sustainable development;
-Motivated and enthusiastic about the opportunities and challenges of working in the Palestinian private sector to achieve sustainable development;
-Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish, develop and maintain relationships-,
-Strong client orientation, openness to feedback and responsiveness to new ideas,
