Overview
PalTrade was established in 1998 as a non-profit, membership-based organization to “lead the development of Palestinian export as a driving force for sustainable national economic growth”. Over the last 25 years PalTrade, as the mandated National Export Development and Promotion Organization has worked with Palestinian exporters, the wider export support and national partner network, international donor agencies and the international export support network, to deliver a positive impact on Palestinian export performance.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources to execute the project activities
- Ensure that all project are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Developing project scopes and objectives, and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and PalTrade
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to project plans and reviews.
- preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
- resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends.
- determining project improvements; implementing change.
- Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget.
- scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Other duties as requested by the direct supervisor to ensure the efficient implementation of the department's role.
Relationships and Roles
- Work closely with PalTrade departments, PalTrade members, and donor.
- Prepare reports in cooperation with related staff members.
- Prepare budgets for projects and activities.
- Coordinate and cooperate with other departments in organizing and implementing exhibitions.
- Write reports on the program for management and for funders
- Ensure that the program/s operate within the approved budget
- Prepare the related budgeted program expenditures
- Follow up on financial records for the program are up to date
- Prepare supporting documentation for funders are prepared as outlined in the funding agreements, MOUs, contracts.
- Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks
- Monitor the program activities on a regular basis
- Report evaluation findings to the department Director and recommend changes to enhance the program, as appropriate
Job Specifications
- Experience
- At least five years of relevant work experience in project management field and exports, regionally or internationally.
- Experience in providing services to the Palestinian companies.
- Promotion experience is a plus
Education
- University degree (B.A.) in business, marketing, or relevant field.
- PMP certification is a plus
Key Competencies
- Knowledge of local business and industry, preferably through direct experience in the Palestinian private sector.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English, Hebrew is a plus
- High level of initiative.
- Solid technical knowledge to better manage service providers.
- Donor-related experience.
- Team management skills
- Project Management skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Project Duration: 12 Month with the possibility of extension depending on the availability of funding
Annual Gross Salary: 29,004 USD
