Job Description
The Friends School -- an over century old KG-12th grade Quaker school in Ramallah and El-Bireh – is seeking to fill the vacancy for:
 
Project Manager / Engineer
The two large campuses of the Friends Schools in Ramallah and El-Bireh are about to undergo two major infrastructural development projects with several grants recently approved. This post-holder will be charged with 1) supervising the execution of school construction projects; 2) preparing related reports and correspondence to the various international development agencies according to
donor agency’s grant management guidelines and procedures; and 3) overseeing and programming of school maintenance.
It is required that the candidate possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience preferably managing infrastructural projects with international development organizations. In addition, the school is looking for a candidate with strong communication skills especially in English language, demonstrated computer literacy with basic knowledge of AUTOCAD and outstanding management abilities. A one year renewable
contract will be offered.
