World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most
marginalized and poor communities of the world.

Strengthening Community Resilience in the Gaza Strip Project is funded by Ausaid under the Australia Middle East NGO Cooperation Program II. It aims to improve the livelihoods and resilience of 15 communities in the northern and southern regions of Gaza. This will be achieved through strengthening the capacity of key partner agencies and CBOs to deliver better livelihood services to their constituents in the targeted areas. Major components of the project include strengthening the agricultural and fishing livelihoods, diversifying household livelihood strategies, integrating community psychosocial into livelihood activities and improving the capacity of partners and CBOs to address livelihood issues.
The lifespan of the project is 53 months.

Project Manager – Gaza
The successful candidate will:
Manage day to day operational aspects of the project Supervise the project team and field workers
Collaborate with local partners to plan, implement and monitor projects acitivities
Establish and supervise different levels of project committees
Ensure achievement of project outputs and compliance to standards
Oversee the preparation of timely and high quality reports
Participate in sectoral program working groups, annual workshops and relevant culster meetings
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in business, social sciences, or relevant subject. MA degree is an asset.
• Four years’ experience in managing projects of large grants in relevant sector.
• Four years’ experience with NGOs, preferrably in the livelihood sector.
• Excellent English language skills (spoken and written)
• Advanced report-writing ability (English)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Committed to achieving quality results and service
• Effective skills in communication of information and ideas
• Ability to influence individuals and groups
• Ability to think clearly, deeply, and broadly
• Proven experience in building collaborative relationships
• Integrity and strong identification with World Vision’s Core Values
• Position is based in Gaza
