Catholic Relief Services is an international aid agency and has been present in the Jerusalem, West Bank, and Gaza since 1961. The CRS JWBG country program currently supports development/relief programs and activities in the sectors of civil society, humanitarian assistance, youth development, education, and peace & justice.
CRS is seeking highly qualified candidates for the following positions:

Position Title: Project Officer
Location: Nablus

Job Summary:
CRS implements the Protracted Relief and Recovery Operation funded by the World Food Program (WFP) to improve living conditions in the rural areas of the West Bank. The program aims to distribute of food vouchers to the beneficiaries and all tasks associated therewith.

The project requires the engagement of a full-time and dedicated Project Officer to be closely involved with all the project details in the geographic areas of North of West bank. Under the supervision and guidance of the SPO and in close cooperation with the West Bank Field Manager, the PO will be responsible for project planning and implementation, timely and accurate financial and narrative reporting, and representation to governmental and nongovernmental organizations.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:
-University degree in relevant field;
-Minimum of three years work experience in development and/or emergency programs;
-Demonstrated experience in community mobilization, organization and mediation among local actors;
-Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and the appropriate local language;
-Strong cross-cultural skills and experience working with people from different ethnic/cultural backgrounds;
-Demonstrated capacities to establish and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with donors, government officials, local organizations, communities and other stakeholders;
-Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, proven ability to develop proposals and write reports meeting donor requirements;
-Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel);
-A valid driving license.
