Project Support Officer
The Business Women Forum (BWF) is a national non-profit organization established in 2006, to promote and empower the role of businesswomen and entrepreneurs as leaders in the Palestinian economy through advocacy, influence to create an enabling environment for women in Palestine. BWF works through a comprehensive methodology through provision of business development packages including capacity building, coaching, consultancy and technical support necessary for their business, enhancing access to markets, financing and knowledge, in addition to networking with local, regional and global institutions and organizations.
BWF seeks to hire a qualified Project Support Officer to support BWF in implementing a five-year USAID-funded project titled “Forsah TVET” bearing in mind that Forsah TVET started in 2022 with anticipated closing date on September, 2027.
Program Overview
The USAID West Bank/Gaza Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Activity or Forsah TVET Activity is a five-year program implemented by IREX and consortium partners, intends to build the capacities of TVET institutions in order to meet labor market demands and provide Palestinians with meaningful, well-paying employment and income generating opportunities. Forsah TVET supports the development of new technical training and improves the quality and relevancy of existing technical programs, with a particular focus on improving youth access. These programs will help Palestinians become more employable and find employment opportunities, in increasingly in-demand technical sectors.
Main Responsibilities is to coordinate and implement project activities in order to achieve the desired results within the set time frames and efficiently utilizing the resources available. The Project Support Officer will be responsible:
Project Coordination:
- Coordinate in the planning and set up of activities, including engagement with relevant partners and other key stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to the organization of events, meetings and workshops.
- Support in organizing trainings, workshops, and field visits as required.
- Follow up with targeted participants on of their application and their progress.
- Participate in meetings related to the program with international donors and local stakeholders.
- Write minutes of meetings and working group meetings
- Any other work-related tasks requested by Project Manager.
Communication:
- Designing comprehensive communication plans aligned with BWF mandate and project goals.
- Coordinate in producing types of content such as press releases, social media posts, success stories and marketing materials while ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and consistent with project activities.
- Capture and share photo documentation for all key activities.
- Maintain and organize up-to-date hard and electronic files for easy access and retrieval.
Procurement:
- Review and prepare documentation on the procurement of goods and services, and support contract tracking.
- Follow up on procurement activities with Project Manager procurement and Finance team.
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Work with Project team on data collection and data entry.
- Collect and report on monitoring and evaluation data and maintain relevant program files and
- support documents following BWF and donor regulation requirements.
- Update and maintain program’s participant database including data entry, indicators measurement, and documentation of participants’ information.
- Conduct field visits for the implemented activities to ensure the quality and progress of the implementation as per the agreed plans.
- Distribution of program monitoring surveys.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in project coordination.
- University degree in business administration or related fields.
- Good knowledge of women economic empowerment programs, and TVET sector.
- Strong team player and communication skills.
- Work under pressure.
- Excellent written and oral communication (Arabic & English).
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet.)
- Ability to travel to the targeted areas of the project. Driving License is a plus.
