Projects Coordinator
Job Description
Sharek Youth forum is a leading Palestinian NGO working to support the development of Palestinian youth. The organization is seeking a qualified young professional to work as a Projects Coordinator at the organization's Headquarters and Activities Center in Ramallah: .
Purpose and scope of assignment
The projects coordinator is responsible for coordinating the successful implementation of various projects, providing strategic advice, monitoring and management support, ensure effective use of reporting mechanisms, and coordinate donor relations on behalf of Sharek Youth Forum. The projects Coordinator is expected to perform the following responsibilities, but not limited to:
-In close coordination with the programme manager, monitor and advice on the projects implementation,
-Coordinate timely implementation of all aspects of the projects,
-General monitoring of the projects including adherence to reporting requirements,
-Daily financial management of recourses in accordance with approved budget,
-Ensure the timely execution of administrative procedures for the projects,
-Maintain accurate projects filling systems covering all project activities,
-Coordinate projects procurement and logistics activities with administrative support personnel,
-Support information dissemination activities and advocate for the projects among key stakeholders,
-Perform other duties may be assigned.
Monitoring and progress controis
-Timely and accurate reporting to the programme manager on project progress,
-Timely administration of projects agreements including budget adjustments amendments and official correspondence with partners,
-Development if harmonised monitoring, evaluation and reporting tools and procedures.
Qualification and experience :
Education :
-BA in Business administration, public administration social sciences, or related studies,
-Degree or certificate in Project Management is an advantage.
-2-3 years of work experience in projects implementation, donor liaison, operations, administration, or related functions,
-Working experience in community engagement, youth development or a related field,
-Extensive working experience, in dealing with various reporting systems,
-Experience preparing reports to donors, and coordinating to grant requirements is an asset,
-Experience in monitoring, control and evaluation of projects,
-Experience working with marginalised communities.

-Good communication and strong interpersonal; skills and ability to work in a team,
-Be results oriented and able to meet strict timelines for outputs,
-Be able and willing to travel and work in remote areas in challenging circumstances,
-Be self motivated, versatile and adaptable to different areas and people,
-Good working knowledge of MS office applications
-Training skills (particularly a knowledge of fife-skills),
-Fluent Arabic and Good command of English,
-Motivation to support the development of Palestinian youth.
