Background:
AAH is a non-profit hospital dedicated in providing variety of medical services of secondary and primary health care for marginalized communities in Gaza. AAH conducts several community health projects
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: -
AAH is currently looking for a dynamic and creative Projects Coordinators who will be able to coordinate the implementation process of all programs and activities, and ensures high quality and conformance to standards and regulations of AAH.
AAH will hire a Program Coordinator to successfully implement the community projects at AAH. This individual will work under the guidance of AAH Director General and in consultation with a multi-disciplinary AAH team. A successful project coordinator will work effectively and expediently with a diverse group of team members within AAH, as well as with external partners/CBOs. He or she will be responsible for the execution and implementation of programs activities, program outputs, and program outcomes. This role will reside within AAH program structure and accordingly must represent him or her-self according to AAH professional standards and guidelines.
ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities:
-Contribute significantly in the design and implementation of assessments and interventions of the AAH projects.
-Support program manager in the implementation, supervision, monitoring, communication, coordination, evaluation, documentation and logistics of the various activities that comprise AAH program assuring high quality of delivery.
-Develop and maintain effective relationships and lines of communication with relevant external stakeholders; liaise and coordinate activities closely with relevant CBOs, stakeholders, beneficiaries and AAH team members.
-Coordination meetings with partners, CBOs, beneficiaries or any relevant institutions or individuals.
-Contribute to project planning to ensure high quality project delivery to meet the project goals on-time and on-budget; Precise follow-up on project implementation progress
-In accordance with a monitoring plan, carry out and fully document program activities, data gathering, and verification in addition to reinforce monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures.
-Supervise the collection of systemized information related to AAH projects.
-Support the Program Manager in the execution of programs to ensure accountability and efficiency.
-Develop evaluation forms to assess and collate feedback from AAH beneficiaries and partners.
-Develop reports and recommendations on regular basis and ensure the documentation of actual and accurate data. This includes gather reporting information, including photographs of activities, success stories for promotions and support in dissemination of information and other related materials.
-Other duties as assigned. Work beyond office hours may be required, without additional compensation.
Qualifications:
-At least Bachelor Degree in management or related fields.
-At least 5 years of experience in a related position of project implementation.
-Knowledge in project writings, management, reporting, coordination and monitoring and evaluation procedures.
-Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
-Strong analytical and reporting skills.
-Proficient knowledge in computer programs.
-Ability to work under pressure and with teams.
