Projects Officer
The Projects Officer will support the Programs Team by handling administrative tasks and assisting with procurement activities. The role involves coordinating project documentation, managing communication, and ensuring smooth operations to facilitate the successful execution of various programs.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Administrative Support:
- Organize and maintain project files and records.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, and workshops.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and other documentation.
- Monitor and track project timelines and deliverables, this shall include participating in field visits.
- Procurement Activities:
- Assist in the procurement process by preparing purchase requests (PR) on the system and obtaining quotes.
- Assist in market check, prices estimation, and specifications with the partners.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Facilitate effective communication between the Programs Team and other departments.
- Provide regular updates on project progress to relevant parties.
- Financial Administration:
- Assist in budget tracking and financial reporting.
- Process invoices and assist in financial reconciliations.
- Follow-up on the Finance Department requirements as needed.

Job Profile Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative or project support role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of procurement processes and principles is a plus.
