Mercy Corps, an international non-governmental relief and development agency, has been
present in West Bank and Gaza since the 1980s, helping Palestinians to work toward building a more peaceful and hopeful future. Mercy Corps’ programs focus on providing humanitarian assistance, improved job and economic opportunities, and community mobilization for peaceful change and inclusion of vulnerable groups. MercyCorps is currently seeking oPT    ,Program designs and proposal writing specialists towork on short term consultancy     to support responsesto emerging funding opportunities with U.S & European donors

Required Qualifications:
1-5-7 years of experience working in international development agencies and/or programs
2- Auniversity degree in internation development ,social political science or a related field is reuqired .
3-Demonstrated expeirence in program design and proposal writing,including budgeting,mentoring and evaluation and fostering of program partnership
4-Strong knowledge of one of the following substances areas: early recovery,economic development,and democracy and governance .
5- Practical experience in NGO capacity building,Human rights,networking and advocacy
6-Good knowledge of the political and social context as relevance for design of relief and development programs in opT.
7-Familiarity with international donor rules and proposal development requierements including European and U.S government donors.
8- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9-Ability to communicate and work effectively within a diverse team of releif and development professionals.
10-Native level written English Language skills.
