Save the Children Sweden is seeking to hire qualified people for the
following position:
Protection Field Officer
Duty station:  Gaza
Duration: 12 months, local contract, with possible

She/he will together with the project manager and the project team contribute to designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the child protection strategy in Gaza. This includes coordination with thematic partners as well as programmatic monitoring according to the instructions and principles included in the project plan and strategy.
Main responsibilities:
1-Supervise and monitor the implementation of the protection thematic activities.
2-Monitor and following up the implementation of the project action plan and the cooperation agreements with partners.
3-Supervise and coordinate timely, efficient implementation of all project activities
4-Coordinate with child education and health project officers to make sure protection health and education issues are integrated within the protection thematic
intervention
5-Coordinate and oversee project management functions including the identification of key experts, organizing and sound follow-up on a different array of training sessions and workshops
5-Work closely with partners on assigned projects to develop implementation plans, worksheets, and short & long term strategies.
6-Provide appropriate and relevant capacity building opportunities to partners.
7-Ensure proper, professional, documented and clear communication with project partners regarding all aspects of the project activities.
8-Work closely with project partner and communities on assigned activities to develop implementation plans, worksheets, and short & long term strategies.
9-Edit and review all financial and progress reports received from project partner and ensure timely monthly, quarterly submission to the support office.
10-Ensure proper, professional, documented and clear communication with project partners regarding all aspects of the project activities.

Required qualifications:
-Bachelor degree in Social Sciences, Human Rights Studies, or relevant fields
-Advanced English language Skills (spoken and written)
-Advanced skills in Project Cycle Management
-Good analytical and problem-solving skills
-Proven experience in building cooperative relationships
-At least 3 years of relevant NGOs work experience (Education, Child protection)
-Commitment to the values and principles of Save the Children Sweden
