Mercy Corps, an international non-governmental relief and development agency, is seeking candidates for the following positions for our office in Gaza.
Psychosocial Project Monitor (1)
Duration: 5.5 months with possibility of extension
Main Responsibilities:
The Psychosocial Project Monitor will be responsible for the monitoring of the programme outcomes and work in close collaboration with the coordinator and the programme manager to ensure data is captured comprehensively and accurately. The monitoring specialist will establish good working relationships with staff at the community-based
organisations, parents, teachers and beneficiaries.
Requirements:
The position requires a degree in the field of social science, development studies or a related field with a strong focus on qualitative and quantitative research in the behavioural field. Candidates must have a lust for social enquiry, meticulous research capabilities and elevated attention to detail. Previous experience in the field of monitoring or behavioural research as well as proficiency in all MS office applications is a must and SPSS is
desirable.
