Job Description
  • Assist the multidisciplinary team in assessing the psychological needs of individuals affected by crisis situations, including individuals affected by injuries.
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic support, addressing emotional and psychological challenges. These include home visits and sessions.
  • Participate in training of emergency volunteers on psychological first aid and other relevant topics.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in the capacity building activities and regular staff meetings.
  • Write technical reports and update the program’s database.

Job Requirements
  • BA. in Psychology or counselling, or any other relevant field, from a recognized university.
  • Valid membership in the Palestinian Union of Social Workers & Psychologists.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably working with persons with disabilities and individuals affected by violence/crisis.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills in Arabic and English.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Driving license is a must.
