Psychosocial Worker

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an independent humanitarian medical aid organization committed to two objectives: providing medical aid whenever needed, regardless of race, religion, politics or gender, and raising awareness of the plight of the people who helps. MSF is working in more than 70 countries all around the world.

MSF –Spain is carrying out a psychological support program with medical and social component. The aim is to provide short-term psychotherapy to people affected by violence and conflict.

MSF-Spain is currently seeking to hire a full time “Psychosocial Worker” for our Mobile Mental Health Team based in  Bethlehem with mobility to West bank and Jerusalem. This position starts middle of July 2017 for a period of 3 months.

 
Requirements:

-    Must have a degree in social work, psychology or other social science.
-    Desirable two years minimum in a similar social job Essential computer literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet)
-    Arabic and English are essential.
-    Experience with International NGOs and MSF is desirable.
-    Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
-    Capacity to work in a place with high security components.
-    Ability to work within a team.
