Public Engagement Manager

World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most marginalized and poor communities of the world.World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking a:

The successful candidate will:
Lead and Coordinate the Partnership Advocacy Strategy for Palestine and Israel in the development
of policy messages and communication strategies to be used in the WV Partnership’s international
advocacy efforts on the well being of children
Manage the work of Communications, Advocacy , Christian relationship and Peace building to
ensure coherency and effective impact on the lives of vulnerable children
Develop and maintain relations with local and international advocacy organizations
Develop and assure implementation of targeted strategies to engage churches, Christian agencies,
and FBOs in our shared ministry with the poor
Be a voice for the poor and vulnerable both locally and internationally

Qualifications/Requirements
-Bachelor degree in Communications, Journalism, Linguistics, Public Relations, Development
Science, Peace Studies or a related field
-Minimum 5 years’ of management experience in the areas mentioned above
-Excellent written and verbal skills (English and Arabic)
-Experience in producing written materials for media purposes
-Understanding of the geopolitical, economic and social issues in the region

-Willingness to travel throughout the WB and Gaza with occasional international travel
