Public Relations Intern

Job Description
Bethlehem Peace Center is a cultural center that aims to promote peace within Palestinian Society, democracy, religious tolerance, and cultural diversity. BPCenter delivers programs targeting locals as well as tourists, and is not affiliated with any religion, or any political party or faction.
We currently have a vacancy for an intern to work with our Program Development team.

Main responsibilities:
-Writing and emailing press releases, and writing copy for BPCenter website
-Copying, distributing, and filing newspaper clippings
-Participating in marketing strategy meetings
-Updating database/ media lists
-To help with other public relations tasks as required

Person Specification:
-Interest in Public Relations and Media Relations
-Have good written and verbal communication skills
-Be highly motivated; a self-starter with the ability to multi-task
-Operate under strict deadlines and high levels of confidentiality
-Good Team working skills
-Excellent Computer skills

Terms and conditions:
Preferred length of internship at least 3 months, and Min 20 hours per week
