QA/QC Specialist

A leading software company in Ramallah is looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, and ambitious detail-oriented QA/QC Specialist to join the team. QA/QC Specialist responsibilities include developing and implementing quality assurance policies, conducting tests and inspections, identifying production, process, or product issues, and presenting solutions.

The main responsibilities are:

• Developing and implementing quality control procedures.
• Designing and executing software tests, analyzing data
• Collaborating with developers and project managers, managing software defects.
• Regulatory compliance in order to ensure the quality of software products and services meet customer expectations and complies with industry standards.

• 2+ years of related experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• Technical focus includes the ability to create and execute DB queries (MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, and SQL Server).
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. - API testing tools using Postman and SoapUI.
• Experience using management tools such as JIRA.
• Excellent communication skills with members, staff, and individuals in the community in a professional manner.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Manual testing and mobile app testing of Android, iPhone, and Web apps.
• Experience in Native app automation and has also worked on app automation using Selenium Webdriver with TestNG.
• Performing end-to-end testing, including Sanity, Functional, Integration, and Regression testing and test framework/s (python is plus).
• Has Knowledge in CI/CD tools (Jenkins is preferred) big Advantage.
• Good written and spoken English.
