Job Description

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Lead and coordinate releases through comprehensive test planning, preparation, design, and execution tasks.
Design and implement functional and nonfunctional, automated, or manual tests that cover all possible cases.
Maintain tests and ensure regression testing is performed to avoid regression issues.
Assess risks from development changes accurately and reflect them in test activities.
Identify, document, and report defects and issues to the development and product teams using issue tracking tools.
Provide mentorship and guidance to the QA team, fostering a collaborative and efficient testing environment.
Assume responsibility for overall testing strategy and quality assurance processes within the team.
Assist the team in other activities as the need arises (i.e., gathering requirements, designing, developing, releasing, supporting, etc.).
Actively lead and participate in process improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing best practices for QA processes and procedures.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a proven track record of leading QA efforts.
Experience in writing comprehensive test plans and test cases, test execution, and bug reporting.
Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript for scripting and test automation.
Experience in testing Web-based applications and APIs, with mandatory experience in the Cypress automation framework.
Proficiency in using Jira or similar issue-tracking systems.
In-depth understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience working within Agile development methodologies.
Experience with Jenkins or similar continuous integration tools for test automation and deployment.
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to the changing needs of a product and delivery demands.
Fluency in English with excellent reading, speaking, and writing skills.
Excellent communication, self-organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
