Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:
-Design, document and execute test cases to validate new products and perform regression testing of current products.
-Review test results with software developers and work with them to close out open defect cases in a timely manner.
-Develop test scenarios, set up controlled experiments, gather data, perform data analysis and write reports to document results and conclusions.
-Interact with remote engineering teams/supervisors.
-Identify and log bugs.
-Review product documentation and write test plans and test cases ensuring adequate testing coverage.
-Write automated test scripts and develop test tools.

Required Technical Skills and Experience:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or computer engineering,
-Experience with software quality assurance practices.
-Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
-Solid understanding of software development processes.
-Experience in writing automated test scripts and developing test tools.
-Experience in using SQL, Database engines, and data analysis tools.
-Experience in UNIX and Perl scripting language.
