Quality Assurance Officer

Derma Beauty Lab (DBL) seeks QA Officers at a variety of levels, skilled in the manufacturing of skincare  products

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all company procedures are in accordance with GMP/ISO standards
• Oversee and supervise daily work operations in the production, filling, and storage departments to ensure they are in compliance with GMP/ISO standards
• To propose to management and to lead continuous improvement projects related to quality standards in the company
• To order and receive raw material according to company standards
• To monitor yield and wastage of each batch manufacturing
• To submit daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to management regarding all the above 
• To supervise investigation of the defect of products especially when there are product complaints
• To execute quality certification projects as required in timely and accurate manner
• Follow up on all procedures related to registering and licensing of products,• Ensure adherence of the production team to the formula and to GMP and ISO standards
• Arranging and following up on samples that are sent to external labs for testing
• Approving products before they are handed to the filling department
• Conduct quarterly internal GMP/ISO audit for the production, filling, and storage departments in the        company
• She/He will support and/or follow up on product formulation (which is done by a cosmetic chemist) and       prepare product files for licensing and/or the company
• Design and analyze consumer research in order to understand the needs and monitor trends
• Support the production team, monitor the manufacturing process, and conduct the necessary lab tests
• Create and maintain all necessary documentation for product development and manufacturing
• Working with the management to identifying solutions for manufacturing issues including quality,           efficiency, hygiene, and any other related issues

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical studies, chemistry, biochemistry, industrial or chemical engineering, or a related field
• Higher degrees are a plus
• Work experience in QA
• Problem solver with the ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast paced, dynamic organization
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Motivation for continuous development in their knowledge and skills in this field
• She/He must be a team player
• Languages: Arabic, Hebrew, and English
